He Man was featured in a whole line of toys as well. This allowed children to play along with the action as they enjoyed their favorite show. Many of the episodes of He Man that we enjoyed as children are now available for our children on DVD. This lets them get a glimpse at the classics of the past that their parents loved and enjoyed.

He Man also gives the right messages to our children. They demonstrate for children that being honest and doing that which is right is the right thing to do. The Japanese anime television series, Mysterious Cities of Gold, stole the attention of viewers. This entertaining French-released series was about a young boy who was in search of gold in the New World. The stories beginning narration explained the basis of this thrilling series. It was a catchy beginning narration that allowed one to become captivated within the series. Placed strategically at the beginning of each episode, new viewers easily understood the basis of the television show’s plot, and often became addicted to it’s thrilling story line. Fans found themselves drawn to the characters portrayed in Mysterious Cities of Gold, and purchased memorabilia corresponding to their favorite characters. The main anime characters Esteban, Zia, Tao, and Mendoza each were created with vastly different personalities. Esteban was an orphan who was saved at sea. People assume him to be the child of the sun. Zia is similar to Esteban in that she has an interesting sun shaped pendant matching Esteban’s. Tao’s father died as did Esteban’s. Mendoza was the hero that saved Esteban when he was lost at sea. Not only did children love the series Mysterious Cities of Gold, adults found themselves drawn to the plot.

The popular European television series To Buy or Not to Buy has been viewed extensively, and has become a favourite. This reality television series was eight years in the making. The basis for this television series took place in unoccupied homes that were up for sale. The idea of To Buy or Not to Buy surrounded itself around potential home owners ‘trying’ out a residence prior to purchasing it. Many thought this would be an outlandish idea for a television series, but the series did stunningly well throughout it’s run. Simon O’Brien, Jenny Powell, Rani Price, and Garold Howesington were all hosts of the television show. The light-hearted joking and teasing allowed viewers to be entertained and amused throughout the drama. Potential buyers seemed to enjoy themselves on the television series, and continued to become increasingly spirited throughout the season. It took approximately 10 hours to film an entire episode (which later came out to be either 30 or 45 minutes long). Throughout the show drama between the hosts, the buyers, and the houses construed. The buyers chose a house out of a selection to ‘test drive’, and in the end either chose to buy it, or continue to search.

This show is awesome if one is looking to experience the grace and beauty of Latin dancing. The dance are done in ballroom styles with flowing dresses and immaculately designed costumes. There is a panel of three judges that determine the quality and aesthetic value of the dancing. These judges do seem to be pretty well versed in the art of ballroom dancing and in general are pretty fair to the couples.

The concept has been so widely accepted that many know of its American counterpart, which is Dancing With The Stars. One issue at hand is the fact that the US believes in general that their version of the show was first. This is not the case, the British deriviative was there first, and the Americans had the spinoff. The show is presently being aired in High Definition on the BBC One HD channel weekly.
